This course helps prepare financial professionals to better assist the emerging baby-boomer retirement population as well as clients in the early pre-retirement stages to help them prepare more efficient and effective retirement strategies. This course focuses on the often misunderstood transition from accumulation to income by identifying and discussing five options to improve income. Topics include:
  1. seven sources of retirement income and three types of retirement income needs
  2. five retirement options when expense/income gaps occur
  3. illustrations and worksheets that reduce the complexity out of retirement
  4. next steps at designing programs for your clients’ specific needs

About The Speaker - Judy Guasco
As Regional Vice President of Allianz Life Judy draws on her 30 years of financial services industry experience to help financial advisors create retirement plans that help their clients meet their long-term financial objectives, in a variety of market conditions.  Prior to joining Allianz, Judy worked as an external mutual fund wholesaler for Ivy Funds, handling all channels in five states in the Pacific Northwest.  Prior to becoming a wholesaler she worked for Equifax Insurance Services and ChoicePoint for 18 years.  Judy holds Series 6, 63, and Life and Disability licenses.  In her free time, Judy and her husband Kevin enjoy backpacking in Europe, collecting antique maps, and spending time with family. Judy resides in Seattle, Washington.  She has been a member off and on of NAIFA (and formerly NALU) in various locations since 1980.
